Cancellation Policy:
The Community and Continuing Education program is self-supporting and each class needs a minimum enrollment. If the minimum enrollment is not met 48 hours prior to the start of class, the class may be cancelled. We reserve the right to cancel, discontinue, postpone, or combine classes before or up to the first class session. We will attempt to contact all enrolled students by phone or email in the event that we cancel, discontinue, postpone, or combine classes. Students enrolled in the affected class(es) will have the option to receive a full refund or to apply their tuition to another class.
Inclement Weather & Holiday Policy:
Classes will not be held when Rolla Public Schools are closed for inclement weather, on federal holidays, or during our scheduled Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Spring breaks. Rolla Public Schools announces inclement weather closings on the local radio stations and at www.cancellations.com. Make up days will be arranged.
Refund Policy:
A full refund will be issued if a class is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment or if the class is full when the enrollment is received. Please allow 10 business days for the refund to be processed. To withdraw from a class and receive a refund, you must notify our office a minimum of 48 hours prior to the start of class. A refund fee of $10.00 will be assessed to each withdrawn class. Because we are self-supporting and our ability to pay our instructors depends on class enrollment, refunds will not be issued if the request to withdraw is made less than 48 hours prior to the start of class. No fee will be assessed if the student transfers to a different class or requests a credit voucher to apply to a future class.
Seniors Discount:
Students who are 60 years of age or over are eligible for a 10% discount on tuition. Please note that this discount does not apply to textbooks, materials, or to classes with “For Seniors” in the title, which are already offered at a greatly reduced rate.
